I've gotten so many random calls lately from scammers.
Decent people are desperately looking for employment and there are snakes, vipers and goons on the loose looking for prey!!!
. I'm SO annoyed right now.

I was at work the other day and my coworker pulled a joint out of his pocket and handed it to me!!! Gotta love the new job!!
Halloween is going to be a blast! My sister's boyfriend is playing his elecronic music with some other guys in a warehouse in Oakland and apparently it's going to be a huge costume party. I'm pretty excited. I'm an oktoberfest girl again this year cause I'm too cheap to buy a new costume. I was going to be a pot brownie again but I want to wear a pettycoat!
Watched a documentary about Enron today.. SOOO INTERESTING! You must watch it! Corporate crime is SO MUCH WORSE than street crime!!! Greedy, rich white men scare me.
Hungry. time to make a yogurt granola banana bowl! YUM!

SO, it's time for an update because I don't feel like doing my homework and Chris isn't here to distract me.
I just got a new job and I'm soooo happy with it!! I'm working for DirectBuy again.. but in Cordelia instead of Pleasanton. The center is owned by a guy that I knew back when I worked for East Bay and he's a really funny, laid back guy! The showroom (binders, computers, copier, furniture, EVERYTHING!) is newer and MUCH nicer. There are less customers that come in to shop and my coworkers are helpful and DRAMA-FREE! I am loving life right now! I know exactly what I'm doing at this job and everything is so much better than the last place I worked! The only downfall is that I have to drive 40 minutes + pay bridge toll to get there... which isn't all THAT bad. I finally will be getting a decent paycheck again! YIPEE!!
My apartment is super nice. I live off of Central Ave in Alameda and I love how I can just walk down the street to get food/coffee/whatever. I've been so used to DRIVING everywhere... it feels weird to walk/bike... weird.
This election is seriously so amazing to me!! We are living in history people!!! BARACK OBAMA, BABY! I hope everyone that is reading this right now is getting out there to vote! Please do it! PLEASE. DO IT FOR THE KIDS!
I'm taking some really interesting classes this quarter: Social Control, Social Psychology, Research Methods II and Alcohol & Drug Abuse. My teachers are mostly men.. which I usually prefer and the majority of my classes are extremely entertaining. There is a lot of reading though.. tons. One of my teachers has us get into groups, discuss the reading and then share with the class... and I really hate that method of teaching! My other teacher just talks about drugs in a jokingly manner all class long and randomly calls on people to ask questions. The weirdest teacher of them all just lectures and dances around the front of the classroom with chalk all over his pants. hehehe. Only 5 more classes after this quarter! WOW. I can't believe that.... what am I going to do without school? I think I will miss it.
I made chicken and dumplings yesterday and they were super delicious!!!!!!!!!!
I'm addicted to so many drugs.. it's horrible. My new years resolution for 2009 is to kick most of these addictions!!! I don't need this shit to survive! I really don't. shit.
Chris is in a new band with 15-year-olds and they're so cute! They are surprisingly reallly good for their age! I love watching them practice because I'm learning so much more about music. I plan on learning guitar as soon as I find myself some free time. Chris' dad told me that I have a natural talent when he taught me a few songs..!!
My sister and her boyfriend are moving to Oakland in about a month and I'm so excited!
I'm so glad that I've moved on from the mess I was in a few months ago.. everything is so much BETTER! I couldn't be happier at the moment! I feel like dancing... time to go dance now!....
